It is rumored that AT&T is offering tethering in the iPhone OS 4.0 Beta 4

According to Apple, “Tethering is not currently offered in the U.S. and some other countries. See your carrier for availability.”

Looks like this is what everyone has been waiting for.  Now all we have to look forward to is a Verizon iPhone.
